I have fallen in love with my blender this summer. Making my own guilt free smoothies and shakes has become an addiction. Why not share the yummy recipes I come up with? Enjoy!

Enjoying a Strawberry Banana smoothie today.
Grocery find: Dole now has new frozen fruit mixes! This one is strawberry banana. I also got a strawberry, banana, peach one. They had a few others too.
So yummy for a simple smoothie!

Ingredients:

1 cup fat free milk

1 Weight Watcher’s chocolate smoothie packet

2 frozen bananas

2 Tbsp. Chocolate PB2

Directions:

Break up banana. Add other ingredients and blend until smooth.

Yields: 1 serving // 5 PointsPlus

You can use just one banana in your smoothies if that’s what you like. Personally, I love the banana flavor (and need help getting fruits and veggies in). I always add two.

Chocolate PB2. I love this stuff! I’ve been adding it to smoothies and dipping my fruit in it! It also comes in jars. I bought a few packets because I wanted to make sure I liked it before I bought a large quantity of it. :) I really want to try it in oatmeal sometime soon… Check it out here : http://www.bellplantation.com/

Here’s a photo of what the packets look like:

You will notice I use the WW smoothie mixes in the majority of my recipes.

If you don’t have any, you can just substitute more SF FF pudding mix! It will thicken the shake up like the smoothie mix does. Low fat yogurt may work too.

Play around with it.

If you guys find any other substitutions work, let me know! :)

Ingredients:

1 cup fat free milk

1 Weight Watcher’s chocolate smoothie packet

1/4 small package jell-o sugar free fat free chocolate pudding mix

1 cup ice

1/4-1/2 tsp peppermint extract (depending on how minty you want it!)

Directions:

Blend until smooth.

Yields: 1 serving // 5 PointsPlus

I added WAY too much peppermint extract to mine (1 tsp.). Next time I won’t add so much. On the bright side, my breath smells good this morning!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup fat free milk

1/4 package jell-o sugar free fat free banana cream pudding mix

1 Weight Watcher’s french vanilla smoothie packet

2 frozen bananas

Directions:

Break up frozen bananas. Throw everything into blender and blend until smooth.

Yields: 1 serving // 6 PointsPlus

I added 6 crushed up Nilla wafers to my smoothie, and to be honest, I couldn’t taste them at all. Not worth the extra points.

I also started with 1 cup of milk and the smoothie was a little to thick for my liking.

If you don’t have WW smoothie mix, you can probably do without. Points+ will vary.

After a very point heavy day, I came home and was dying for a snack.

Why not turn to my blender?

Ingredients:

1 cup no sugar added frozen fruit (I used a “Fiesta Blend” mixture from Aldi’s)

1 cup ice

1 cup water

1 packet no calorie sweetner

Directions:

Blend until it’s the consistency you want. :)

Yields: 1 serving // 0 PointsPlus

Really? That’s it?

Yep!

I feel like I should be sitting on a beach while sipping this yummy drink!
